That winning combination led Wendy to the sporting world’s ultimate achievement – the Olympic Gold Medal. Wendy and her relay teammates set a World Record and brought home the only U.S. Gold Medal in women’s swimming, winning against the heavily favored, and some would say unfairly advantaged, East German women’s team at the Montreal Games in 1976.
Post-Olympics, at a time when many athletes wonder, “What’s next?” Wendy continued to evolve in her career and her life. Wendy became the first female swimming coach at Yale University, as well as an international speaker, even as she began to raise a family, and formulate her strategies to become the person you see today - one who is willing to share her experience and her expertise to allow any of us, regardless of age, to LIVE Financially Sound, Physically Strong.
